Time: Meeting was called to order at 12:30 pm Members Present: Regina Bull, Tracy Calvit, Caryn Couch, Johnny Johnson, Roger Ketchum, Jerry Richardson, and Martha Smith. Treasurer's Report: $7,409.98 - all bills paid Current 2011 Members: 34 (5 individuals & 29 businesses) New Member: Del Zotto Products of Texas, Inc. 4th Qtr Gregg County Funding Report: Completed and Caryn took to Judge Stoudt's office on 1/18 Texas Almanac: They sent us a form to fill out to update information in their records - due January 30. Jerry Richardson will update and return. Recommendation Letter for Southern Hills Golf Club: Completed and signed by Caryn - delivered before the holidays. Parade Winners: Grand Marshall Award - Santa's Float; Best Parade Theme - Sabine HS Choir; Best Decorated - 1st Nat'l Bank of Hughes Springs; Best Vehicle - Tom Hopkins Best Marching Band - Sabine HS Band; Best Religious Theme - Grace Baptist Church New Officers: Jerry Richardson - President: Caryn Couch - Vice President: Tracy Calvit - Secretary/Treasurer Board Members We still in need of 3 new Board members to serve 3 years Current Board member include: 2-year term: Jerry Richardson, Matt Winnters and Tracy Calvit; 1-year term: Roger Ketchum, Norma Hunter and Wayne McDougal Envelopes - Order from The Print Shop in Marshall Texas - ordered 1,000 + a bank stamp. 2011 Goals - Jerry Richardson proposed that our goal for 2011 would be to contact as many businesses in the community, encouraging them to join the Chamber. Tracy will print Welcome Packets to pass out. Roger Ketchum offered to help. Next Meeting - Wednesday, February 16, noon at the Southern Hills Golf Course.
